Data Deletion
Local-only architecture. EmberMate stores all data locally on your device. No health data, medications, vitals, or personal information is ever sent to or stored on our servers. You have complete control over your data at all times.
How to delete your data
To permanently delete all your EmberMate data, follow these steps within the app:
- Open EmberMate on your device
- Navigate to Settings (gear icon)
- Scroll to the Privacy & Data section
- Tap Delete My Data
- Confirm deletion in the dialog prompt
This action is permanent. Deleting your data removes all health records from your device, including medications, appointments, vitals, symptom logs, photos, and patient information. This cannot be undone.
What gets deleted
- Medication records and adherence history
- Vital signs and symptom logs
- Appointments and care plans
- Photos and documentation
- Patient information and caregiver data
- All app settings and preferences
No server-side data
Because EmberMate is a local-only application, there is no server-side data to delete. We do not maintain databases, cloud backups, or any remote copies of your information.
Alternative: uninstall the app
Uninstalling EmberMate from your device also permanently deletes all stored data, since everything is kept locally on the device.
