Ysora LLC ("Ysora," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, and shared in connection with the EmberMate application and the embermate.app website.

A note on EmberMate's design

EmberMate is a local-only application. All health information you enter into EmberMate — medications, vitals, symptoms, notes, photos, patient information, and care plans — is stored encrypted on your device and never transmitted to our servers. We do not have, see, or have any way to access your health data.

Information We Collect

The only information we collect is:

• Contact information you voluntarily provide when you email us, submit a form, or otherwise contact Ysora directly.
• Anonymous website analytics (where applicable) — basic, aggregate information such as page visits and general device type, used solely to understand how the website is performing. This data does not identify you personally.

We do not collect: your health data, your loved one's health data, medications, vitals, notes, photos, locations, contacts, or any information generated within the EmberMate app.

How We Use Information

Information you provide via email or contact form is used only to:

• Respond to your inquiry or support request
• Communicate updates related to EmberMate when you have specifically asked to be notified

We do not sell or rent personal information.

Data Sharing

We may share information only in these limited cases:

• With email or website infrastructure providers (such as our email host or web host), strictly to facilitate the services you have requested
• When required by law or legal process
• To protect the rights, safety, or property of users or Ysora LLC

All third-party providers are contractually required to safeguard information appropriately.

Within the EmberMate app, your data is encrypted at rest on your device. Outside the app, we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect any contact information you have shared with us. No system is completely secure, but we work to reduce risk and exposure.

Children's Privacy

EmberMate is intended for adult caregivers and is not designed for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Choices

Because we do not store your health data, there is no health data on our servers to access, correct, or delete. To delete your health data, see Data Deletion for instructions on how to remove it from your device.

For any contact information we have on file (such as an email you sent us), you may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us at the email below.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of the EmberMate app or this website after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
